Sinus elevatio

This procedure is needed in cases when the amount of bone doesn’t make it possible for us to insert implants. In this procedure we open a „window” through the boney wall of the maxillary sinus, through this we reach into the sinus with an instrument, lift the mucus membrane and insert bone substitute material beneath it.

At the same time when this operation is done, we can insert the implants too, if the bone thickness achieved is at least 5mms. If not, the operation has to be repeated.
